Discretion

Privacy Policy

Discretion is foundational to our work. This policy explains what information we collect, how it is used, who processes it, how long we keep it, and the rights you hold.

Our Commitment to Discretion

HITCloud serves private clients, family offices, and discerning commercial principals. We do not publish client names, addresses, or project details without explicit written permission. Project imagery is shared only when authorized, and identifying detail is minimized by default. Floor plans, security design, network architecture, and automation programming are treated as confidential client property. Confidentiality continues indefinitely beyond the engagement.

Information We Collect

Information you provide — name, email address, phone number, project type, budget range, timeline, and any details you include in a message or consultation request.Client and project information — service addresses, site documentation, system configurations, and support history collected in the course of delivering an engagement.Automatically collected — IP address (typically truncated by our analytics provider), device and browser type, referring source, pages viewed, and interaction events collected via cookies and similar technologies.

How We Use Information

To respond to inquiries and schedule consultations; to prepare proposals and deliver, support, and maintain systems; to fulfill contractual obligations and provide warranty and service; to operate, secure, and improve this website; to measure the effectiveness of our advertising; and to comply with legal and regulatory requirements. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Legal Bases

Where the GDPR or similar law applies, we process personal information on the basis of your consent (analytics and advertising cookies), performance of a contract (delivering services), our legitimate interests (responding to inquiries, securing our site), and legal obligation (recordkeeping and licensing requirements).

Cookies and Tracking

We use strictly necessary cookies for site operation, Google Analytics 4 (G-WDFJ0PXB0X) for usage measurement, and Google Ads conversion tracking (AW-18214167703) to measure advertising performance. Additional advertising tags such as the Meta Pixel or LinkedIn Insight Tag may be used during active campaigns. Full detail, including how to control cookies, is set out in our Cookie Policy.

Service Providers and Third Parties

We engage trusted vendors who process information on our behalf under confidentiality and security obligations: website hosting and database infrastructure, email and communications, analytics and advertising measurement (Google), and business administration platforms. Manufacturer and trade partners are engaged on a need-to-know basis solely to deliver your project. We may disclose information when required by law, to enforce our agreements, or in connection with a business transfer.

Security

We apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of client information, including access controls, least-privilege internal access, encryption in transit, and vendor due diligence. Because of the nature of our work, client security and network documentation is compartmentalized and shared only with personnel delivering the engagement. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; we work continuously to maintain a strong posture. Please do not transmit sensitive floor plans or security documentation through the website contact form.

Retention

Website inquiries are retained for up to 24 months from last contact unless they become client records. Client project documentation, including as-built configuration and service history, is retained for the life of the relationship and for the period required for warranty, licensing, tax, and legal compliance — generally seven years thereafter. Analytics data is retained for up to 14 months. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of your personal information; opt out of targeted advertising or the "sharing" of personal information; and withdraw consent. California residents hold these rights under the CCPA/CPRA, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising them. You may also opt out of marketing email at any time using the unsubscribe link. To make a request, email LuxurySmart@hitcloud.com; we may need to verify your identity before responding.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Updates to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a revised effective date.
